I'm tempted to say that there isn't a standard we can simply use; I've used some very different ones even in a small sample of aircraft. Can we add enough hooks to the panel instrument so that it can capture and track all the modes and arming/active status ... even if some of that information is in properties that are not visible on the panel ?
