Unless some things can be smoother or better with a faster CPU, like panning
the view or spinning the trim wheels.  This is a hackish fix taking away that
potential benefit.  Trust me, you do not want to increase the trim wheel
interval!  

You are trying to fix a problem with varying control sensitivity when using
hat buttons.  I don't think this is the right way to approach that one issue.
 And it is _too_ _late_ _to_ _add_ _this_ _to_ _this_ _release_.
