I'm seriously quite interested in this challenge, but I have just started on my quest to model some of my local airports in FlightGear - so that I can fly them VFR. The current output of TerraGear for the Southern UK is not like 'what I see out the windows', making VFR navigation incredibly difficult. Rivers in the UK, for instance, are seldom more than a slightly darker green strip from above 1500ft - the occasional glint of water maybe. FGSD offers the best chance at fixing this. Once I have found out how to do this, then I will document it. I think 'case studies' offer the bast way forward, without writing a whole new documentation set, and it's what I do for the LinuxFromScratch project. More when I get further into it. And apologies for sounding off. Richard. _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-devel
