Ta.  I've been using kmail for ages:)  I've been using Kate for my xml stuff 
and that's good too.  Infact, I've been increasingly using more and more kde 
apps and the gnome ones that I liked are becoming obsolete and replaced with 
stuff I don't like.  The replacement of gmc with nautilus, being a prime 
example.
