Okay, that got everything working except....

the command to offset the views left and right.
Tried things like:

--offset-view=LEFT  , offset-view=-50.0, offset-view=RIGHT, offset-view=50.0

and every screen is looking down the runway centerline. Is there an enabling
parameter or something required in the preferences.xml file? Works with a
very old version of FG but not the latest.

The out-the-window view consists of three screens, left, center, and right
each with a 50 degree FOV.

Is something missing?  running the released version of FG-0.9.3 under debian
with Nvidia drivers
