Why???.Thats why they are called a black box. And unless you work for Bendix/King or one of the other black box manufactures you will never know.After all what is in the black box is there bread and butter.
If nobody knows what's inside the autopilot, how can we make one?
I want do design the black box, that is the kind of flexibility I'm looking for.
Besides, I don't think it makes sense to have black boxes in an open source project. ;-)
