    I suppose I can check if there're multiple sound devices, bring up a
menu and let you choose. I believe there's an environment variable or
per-user setting files for OpenAL config.

    Sorry I should be more specific.

    Try doing "jscal -c /dev/js0" and the follow the instructions.

    After that see if the joystick works better (or worse ;)
