The "Remorqueur", the Robin DR400/180R typically has a mirror that
allows the pilot to look at the glider behind while towing. This is one
flavour, althogh the mirrors I have seen on such an aircraft typically
look a bit more 'elegant':

Even a simple C150 has a small mirror, but this is mounted into the
