Well, you need a good card and a high RAM - no low cost. And, Justus said it before: a good stick and pedals... And they aren't cheap. How many people got these things but still interessted in flying with flightgear? It should be possible learning to fly a realistic flightmodel of a helicopter with the mouse. It's only a think - I have no ideas how to improve the flightmodel to that. I have only experience in Blender and watching real helicopters.
