I don't believe so, as it's no where near mid-span.  If the distance was
shorter I'll call it a super-long negative swell(swale?), but the distance
between the points shown in the images is longer than that. I'll do some
more research in different locations.

 

That said, I was looking for information about it so that the carrier could
be at actual sea level, or ocean surface rather than hovering above it.  If
the height-adjust is possible, that'd be a great solution if it kept in sync
across MP.
