The scheduling may have changed, as I haven't looked at the code in ages. Updating the position of the celestial is done within a few microseconds or so, so I would find it hard to believe that this causes any discontinuities. Just out of curiousity, Jon what made you assume that the astronomical code was causing the discontinuity?
