I doubt it's enabled by default anyway, and if someone with the wits to check out and compile the CVS version comes across a problem, they're likely to have the wits to search the list archives and soon see how to work around. The more people testing CVS and finding bugs, the better the next release is going to be, and that benefits everyone.
