I didn't have any other cvs version of freeglut on my system this was
my first compile of freeglut from cvs. I usually don“t have direct
access to the Internet and use the tar.gz. I used the instructions on
the freeglut site to retrive de cvs source. I will do all the compile
cycle again: remove all and compile all. :) As always I cannot be 100%
shure, its easy to make mistakes and get wrong conclusions in these
compile cycles.

That's because I didn't had the time to test 0.9.9 before... :)

That's ok, that was the way I started. :) But for now, because my lack
of Net connection, I can't always check the web for anwsers. Bare with
me for now... :)

My distro (SUSE 10.0) had a "broken" freeglut 2.4.0, no help here.

I usually search the web for info, these time I did the same but I
thought I should share my experience with others maybe helping them
and also helping myself.

And the others times that I tried FlightGear, what I did wasn't in the
best interest for the Open Source Software. I simply tried and if it
didn't work I would wait a few months and try again... But no, these
time I must do something different, I want to fly the massive A380 in
FlightGear... :)
