Hi Ron,
the first version had no 2d-panel, the new download a very nice one!
Tried the a/c on my old 0.9.9 installation and it flies very well and
can also be landed although I had no valid "numbers" for landing
configuration.
The F4 is a "must" for my hangar as the German Luftwaffe used this
workhorse for a long periode in version F4F.
When I had the change to get to a German F4F very very near some time
ago I noticed a hook although Germany has no carrier. This is due to a
cable security system at the end of the active runway on German military
airports as the pilot explained to me. And when I crossed a German
airbase I could identify (and photograph) these cables.
Therefore it would be nice if your model could get a hook :-) - even if
we have no airports with cable security system.
One question left: is it right that you cannot see any wingtip when
looking out of the cockpit backwards? Is that a feature of the real
aircraft, too? Or just a missing detail as your work just has started,
as we all know.
