They do indeed - check out the Lightning for an example (maybe more convoluted 
than you might want, but should give an idea at least.)  In theory the same 
should also be possible in YASim with the a "weight" tag - with a negligible 
weight but a high Cd attached.

It's a pity JSBSim doesn't allow such devices yet (a Phantom would be great 
for flying from our carriers) - there is a patch floating around to provide 
such a function but of course that's not really an option for a plane you 
intend to be more widely distributed.

Nice to see the Phantom coming along...
