Quite right. I created a 747-400 static from the base flyable
747-400, by creating a copy of the boeing747-400-jw.xml file in
the 747's Models folder, and then removing everything from the
file but the 747 fuselage model. I added a line to the relevant
.stg file in the Scenery/Objects folder and it works nicely.

Its good for those with a little more graphical grunt to be able
to use higher poly models for the static objects, but those with
slower cards can still use lower poly models if the framerate gets
hit too much...
