Hi Roberto,

The only problem is that I would have change the axis in blender, as Maya is 
a "Y" up world coorodinate system..., and, pleae excuse my bad english, but 
I find Blender an arse to use.
Having found out I can use .3ds files I shall persue that road.....mainly 
because I have the academic version of 3dsMax 3.1 and I am comforatble in 
the program

As for Maya, I have the academic version of that as well, not as musch 
dollars to spend but still pricey.....hence the reason I was debating on 
whether to purchase AC3D or not (after buying academic versions of industry 
standard software not many dollars are left in pocket...).
