Hi Roberto,

yup, after learning this program for 3 years you get to know the bits 
well......my comment was that I have to share files with 20 others and when 
your the only one using "Z" up it makes things difficult, not for me but the 
others are still learning the program.

however, if the default scheme is "Y" up then that would make it an "Y" up 
modeller....you can change 3dsmax to be "Y" up but its native is "Z" 
up....like many other modelling prgrams. Dont get me wrong, I am well aware 
of the preferences tab in Maya, 3dsmax, Zbrush etc....they can all be set to 
"Z" up, all I want to do is save the hassle of having the scenery developer 
at the other end having to do another step (in this case "rotate" the 
model....), as this stops people being annoyed with you and keeps everything 
running smoothly.

Either way I will be using max for modelling as this is the application of 
choice for me and is the one I work easiest in.
