Problem solved - It was caused by a miss linked glx file.
This was reported by NVidia's .run file.
The solution was to re-run the NVidia .run file. Of course that did
require a complete kernel source and at least make menuconfig and a
.config file Then your kernel must match it 2.6.# (uname -r) of your
kernel source.
Hey Group;
As a warning! SuSE 10.2 Updater auto updated Xorg.
Now FlightGear blows up the X server.
It goes all the way back to the command line.
