Well Curt;

I did do exactly what you were suggesting.  I also download the latest 
kernel and then at least link it and run make oldconfig or make 
menuconfig.  Then with the most recent NV.run file setup it up.
Obviously fro the NV.run to work "uname -r" must match the source.

What was the problem NV.run fixed and or SaX2.  But it is back!

I just thought I would warn some other Linux folks to watch out.
