I am currently building an instrument panel for the Bell 206. So far I've got the background done and have been working on designing the instruments such as engine oil temp/press and transmission oil temp/press. I used GIMP to design them and saved them as Silicon Graphics IRIS image (RGB not SGI) file. I also tried saving with "no compression", "RLE compression", and "agressive RLE compression". The problem is, when I lay it out on the panel all I get is a box where the instrument should be. This is with all my instruments that I've designed. I have no problem with the preloaded instruments from the "../Data/Aircraft/Instruments" path, so I know it's the way I am saving it in GIMP, but I just don't know what I am doing wrong. If I can get some help, I should have accurate B206 VFR and IFR 2d panels for everyone!
