Rationale;
The trip is 3 hours, with 12 turns at 20 s each that's about 4 min spent
turning in a 3 hour trip.
The more turns the more waggles => the less turns the less waggles

yes more waypoints might make the turns more realistic but would incur
more waggles => less realistic

Less turns => less time being "unrealistic".

and in a normal flight with only 4 minutes out of 3 hours being
"unrealistic", statistically you'd be very unlucky to see this behaviour
(unless you're like Georg and stalk it with a Harrier :-) )

but thanks for the comments... BTW...I mailed Neil off line and
obliterated the erroneous second scenario entry ( I use 2 entries, one
for each way)..now he has a ferry that "flies" the flightplan but
carries on into the city... we're working on the END & EOF entries and
the scenario <repeat>true</repeat> entry....might be good to bring it
back on-list now we've got past the syntax stuff ;-)

thought!..... could the <type>ship</type> scenario have some
functionality to smooth out turns?

Cheers
