Hi there,
http://blobster.50webs.com/ybbn-new.jpg
Just to clarify with that image - the airport layout you see is a hole in the
terrain - all airports are like that, not just the one I altered. The terrain
itself has built fine; roads, railways, town, urban etc all appear to have
worked fine, just not the airports.
I have copied apt.dat to the data/airports folder and replaced the YBBN data in
that with the data from my new YBBN.dat exported from taxidraw. In the genapts
log I can find 6 messages like this...
found a bad node = 153.125, -27.3585, -9999
...but nothing else I can see (or understand) to be errors.
I notice the output folder contains just what looks like basic terrain data,
none of the <ICAO code>.btg.gz files are there...it appears that fgfs-construct
is not doing the airports at all. Also, the layout I expected in 'output'
(separate Terrain, Objects, and Airports folders under Scenery, as per Scenery
v1.01) is not there, just an "e150s30" folder, with a pile of subfolders).
Finally there are 1230 instances during the process where fgfs-construct cannot
open and/or find the files its looking for - the files/folders it asks for
simply are not there.
I'm getting closer to figuring this out - might have to wait for next day -
need sleep - <sound of head dropping onto keyboard>.
Kind regards,
Chris Wilkinson, YBBN/BNE.

Hi there,
Well, I managed to build something that could be seen in fg. Unfortunately its
bereft of textures...

Apologies to those who cannot view that image - I've had reports of people not
being able to look at the previous image I put on that webserver...
To those who can see it note the space *between* taxi/runways is blank, and not
grassed. Is there something that genapts has done to my layout to cause this
perhaps?
Once again I'm so close! I'm halfway across the last hurdle, just need to jump
a bit higher... :-)
Kind regards,
Chris Wilkinson, YBBN/BNE.
