Thanks for the suggestion.  I'd consider using 2.0, as long as it's not going 
to be an exercise in masochism.

Do you know where I can get information on its current status?  For example, 
are there numerous test programs that build and run cleanly using FLTK 2?

And is there an estimated completion date for FLTK 2?
