Yes, that is correct, the fltk2 tree is largely experimental, and not all the features that are working in the fltk-1.1 and fltk-1.3 series have been implemented in flkt2 yet. Perhaps they never will be, unless someone can take on the task? It is community supported open-source after all, so if you need that functionality, feel free to add it.
