I was re-reading the Article #825(Versioning an vision), and I am trying to figure out which is the best release to work with. It seem that 1.3 will be the actively supported release in the future, so I should abandon ftlk2(and my thousand++ loc in fltk2). FLTK-core-team should also discontinue the dev of fltk2 release. (I also hope that 1.4 will not start/released in parallel with 1.3).
As you said,I was seriously thinking of correcting the fluid2(already started). But why bother to do so in a release without clear future? I wouldnt want to end up be alone out there. It seems better to port my fltk2 apps to 1.3 and port any fltk2 futures in 1.3 (as needed). > > > > Many other things does not work/missing either in fluid2=20 > > (filechooser in win32,code viewer).
