Ian, thank you for your wise comments. I only wish to wake up one day and see 
only one release of FLTK.
I have already corrected the filechooser/scandir bugs, and if I ever finish it 
(and wont loose interest) I let the community know.
PS:as a fltk2 'user' I really hate the "FL_" naming convention.
