hi don,

first of all let me tell you i have breathed a great big sigh of relief that
you received your address book. the post office is not all bad.

as to 'untitled' i use a numbering system to keep track of the work and
sometimes i use untitled as the name. however recently i have been using
titles but the paintings are large and seem to command an identity. the titles
are personally meaningful but tell the viewer nothing ie. a large red painting
is called 'the gift'. all of them are non-representational. one thing i do is
name the series that i am working on. it is difficult even for me to say what
the paintings are about since they are worked on over a period of months and
ones ideas and feelings shift over time. but like yourself i am not much into
helping the viewer, either they get it or not.

very bests, carol :)
