There is a relatively new business (within the last year or so) in Bangor
called Ink-Ink. Ink-Ink's specialty is remanufactured ink cartridges. All
cartridges are guaranteed to perform at top quality or your money back. My
organization has been using them for over 6 months now and we haven't had a
single complaint. We have two ink jet printers and a laser printer. For the
ink jet printer we pay $18 for the b/w cartridge and $20 for color (compared
to $29.99 and $54.99 at Staples). We haven't need a laser cartridge yet, but
when we do it'll be $75 (compared to $98.99 at Staples). Unfortunately, I
can't guarantee that these will be the prices you'll pay, too, but I think
it's definitely worth a call if you're interested. Ink-Ink is a one-man
operation, but he has an answering service and does return calls. His name
is Larry Reynolds and his number is 945-3339 or 888-945-3339.

Also, for those not in the Bangor area, I've noticed that Staples has
started selling remanufactured cartridges for laser and inkjet printers.
