Dear Jon, We at h.o.m.e. are very grateful for the Xerox WorkCentre 450cp. Does someone need a tax receipt for a donating it? Yesterday I downloaded the drivers for it from the Xerox web site, and downloaded a firmware update which I was able to install following the directions provided. That was an interesting process, since the firmware update required setting up the fax machine to receive the update and running the update program in DOS mode since it downloaded directly to the LPT1 port. It works fine as fax machine and as printer (the black ink cartridge even had ink). I don't know if the downloaded driver has anything for scanning, I haven't checked that far yet. I got a chuckle when I opened the box and remember you said it had been stored: the box contained a small stash of acorns! h.o.m.e. had been trying out a couple of donated fax machines that sort of worked. I will check these out again and make them available to anyone who can use them (who can figure things out without a manual, or may want to send a fax without receiving faxes). Cheers, Ralph
