Michael J Gruber <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #55 from Michael J Gruber <[email protected]> --- While most people here are talking about bitmap fonts, dropping type1 fonts is a *major* issue for everyone working with TeX fonts. Before, it was perfectly possible to mix and match documents created from several programs which use pango/cairo output to pdf and include that in your TeXnical files. Now, the former cannot use type1 fonts any more while the latter cannot work with otf, at lest in their standard incarnation. While I'm all for otf - the world just is not otf-only yet. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ fonts-bugs mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected]
