Dear Bipin Ji, Your concern is true. Firstly you joined this matter with the current election. I was shocked. I just proceed and found that was just a metaphore.
Coming to the point, I just found you to be really disappointed about the IOE plannings, I think this is not the matter to be discussed here, but on the other side, I too think i should reply you right here. So let me proceed coz, my other side won the toss. Talking about LOCUS, it is totally a student initiated project and the college administration does no interfere in the whole event right from the committe formation of Locus to its final closing ceremony. So Locus has such a wide round of participation from colleges. So, students choose the judges panel to judge the projects. Its not that professors from other colleges are not appointed, coz you know the fact that IOE lectures/professors do what do they do here is other colleges to and vice-versa. And regarding the planning, I don't think any other colleges organizing such fests/exhibitions/competition etc, make IOEans in their centered planning, they may name as advisors as we had some of them (probably lot) from around some reputed institutions/ organizations. Neither the college level, nor the department level and not even the students level programmes elect someone from other organizations do appoint someone outsiders in their planning. So, if you think that should happen, you have to give a start. Because Locus 2007-08 is already over. -- Regards, Dhruba.....
