I am using* *Xubuntu in my old pIII laptop with *300 mb* ram and *600 mhz*processor... it works well very well.. bit slow but only when you start many programs at once. it can handle 3-4. but doesnt play hd videos :D.
Also, I am using *SLITAZ* in it.. its also very good.* 30mb ISO*. Takes about 130 mb when installed. I have downloaded Slitaz repo too. It doesnt have so much applications like ubuntu.. but is good for normal use. very very fast in pIII laptop. New puppy is also great.
