That's a beautiful and helpful recommendation. The thing we fell is for
someone to do the work so we can benefit it. It's human nature. What i would
suggest is making alliance with HSI's and Universities. May be we can just
provide knowledge, resources and suggestion to students who make their own
software/applications. I realize that this has been discussed earlier but i
regret to inform that i hadn't been active since 2008 due to heavy projects
and work.

Like while i was in university i wanted to make a web site to start with, so
i tried hard core php but i later realized why i don't make a localize
software that at least helps someone. Website will be dull in like 2 months
but a software remains for all those who needs it, especially a localized
version. But i had no one who guide me, it was my bad i never asked for one
though. I went in many online community looking for answers and trying
different programming language (ya some of my friends though i was a weirdo
because of what i was trying). We have experience and we have the capability
to nurture and guide a rookie/professional in creating a F/LOSS localized
software which will benefit him as well as the community.

Most of the students are very happy with the coolness of proprietary
software. I have witness it myself while i was in University. We should try
and change their thinking. Like what RMS once said
'with proprietary software, the computer does what the software owner wants
it to do, not what the user wants it to do. ‘

May be this kind of advocacy as well as some support from the community will
make him migrate to the ethical world.

I lost all my programming skills over the years, to be honest i haven't been
programming since mid 2008 and the last language i used was coldfusion which
i already ate lol. But hopefully after my thesis ends i can get on track. I
have been wanting to learn a hacker skills. Fell free to advice me in any
ways :)
