Since, you have accidentally damaged your storage drive, files from that partion will be recoverable only with recovery programs.
For now, just copy the files from your C drive, using a Live Boot, to some external HD. Then perform whole drive format. If you want Microsoft WimpDopoes then remove the cd after format and install wimpdopes first. After that install Linux. Again, USB boot is preferred. It will make things go faster.
