As far as I know that should be no problem. If the directory location changes, you'll just need to change the repository path defined in RepPath.conf (by default this is in /etc/fossology/RepPath.conf). One note: If you're going to use rsync or simillar tools to move the repository, I *highly* recommend that you rsync it in small chunks. For example, split up the repo into 4 or 8 pieces. The reason for this is that the file repository has an enormous number of directories and files, and rsync takes a VERY long time to create the file lists it needs to perform the file copies. By splitting it up it has to process fewer files/directories at once.
