And reload-check is uber important :D I almost bricked one XMR unit by
missing one PBIF image during upgrade!
That won't brick anything, just cause it to probably not forward
packets over that linecard. Not an issue with proper OOB access via
the MR.
If you want brickage, load a firmware version that predates support
for that particular linecard (not really possible on XMR), or muck up
the boot image on a linecard. The FPGAs just work - or don't, but you
don't interact with them directly.
"reload-check" is a good tip, though.
