"...I would go with a face painting product that washes out more
easily (I'm thinking snaz..."

I can personal vouch for Snazaroo and Roberta can vouch that the
following occured:
Take a Saturday night pirate theme at a FP convention and paint the
top 3/4 of your head & across your forehead with Snaz red at 8pm. Then
add white polka dots and details to mimic a bandana. Add dinner,
festivities, dancing, laughing and staying up till 3:30 am. Crawl back
to hotel room and pass out (from exhaustion, not drinking) without
washing-off paint. Wake-up at 10 am (14 hours after applying paint),
discover to your horror that you're STILL wearing the "bandana" and
step into shower convinced your never going to make it through airport
security that day. Wash hair and face normally and step out expecting
the worse as you walk up to the mirror.........only to find the
paint's COMPLETELY gone!
I LOVE my Snaz!!!

I would totally use Snaz for the hair. You need to work it with a bit
more water and it can get your hands messy, but it spikes-up
beautifully!!!

I suggested the other two creme face paints because the gal posting
the beginning of the thread was refering to cream hair colorant.
