IF I can reschedule on a rained out, I will, but if they cancel, I keep
their deposit...no questions asked. I take a $50 deposit on BD parties and
about 1/3 on corporate events. If I can't rechedule on a rain out, they
lose their deposit. Usually we can find a place to have the party if it's
raining.....I do it in their house! (Thunderous applause for THAT thought!
lol) It's in my corporate contract --> "This contract may NOT be canceled
in the case of rain."

Subject: [fpba-assn] Deposits and cancellations

I have never had a problem until recently with a cancellation.
And tomorrow I had a substantial job booked that looks like it
may get rained out.

How do you guys handle deposits and cancellations?

Thank you!
Karen
