My deposit is the amount of the first hour, and the balance is paid at
the event.
The deposit is kept if the event is cancelled, but can be credited
toward another event.
I've had about 3 cancellations that lost their deposit, but
surprisingly, they have never used that for credit for a new event and
some of these people booked up to 2 years ago! Weird. I guess they
forgot? It does state my policy in the contract. I should probably
remind them! In fact, I need to remind them.
