If I understand correctly, you have an image in an anchored frame, and you want to place callouts in text frames within the anchored frame?
You want the text frame to have a border with a specific thickness? You probably already figured out that you can use the graphic tool bar to create the text frame. You can also apply and outline to the text frame using the Set Pen Pattern graphic tool, and set the thickness using the Set Line Width tool. I think if you want the text to remain a certain distance from the edge of the text frame, you must create another text frame within the first one to contain the text. If you do this, you can group the text frames by going to Graphics > Group. In addition, you can set run around properties for the text frame by right-clicking the selected text frame, and then choosing Runaround Properties. Does anyone have any suggestions for overcoming this? I have a lot of these "labeled" images to handle. I just gave a quick try to create an image with Visio and then import it, but Visio seems to have issues of its own. I can send an example image of what I am getting in FM9 as well as I what I am trying for (from Word) if this would help. Also, is there any way to make the corners of the Text Frames rounded instead of square?
