Yes, it is worth remarking about it because, as it seems to be the case in
many fields, men seem to have lost interest in film making. I work at a
campus were 75% of the students are female, in some departments the
female/male ratio is even higher. You have to wonder where the men are.
Maybe at home playing video games... Oh well.
