I don't know that such a claim is ever made from within FreeBSD. FreeBSD is Unix, for and by those who know and love Unix. Linux is the one
that's wwhy i switched from linux to NetBSD then FreeBSD few years ago.
wanting to be a better Windows than Windows.
and getting worse windows actually ;)
For the best user experience, and Unix too: MacOS X.
