Sure: such tips definitely should be documented!
It's in Bugzilla, which makes it more documented than probably 80%-90% of FreeDOS information on specific applications. In the huge pile of "wouldn't be nice if FreeDOS had this" features, an annotated application compatibility list is in the top half of the heap.
