Jason did some testing and, contrary to my assumptions, found
no useful improvement by adding some local buffers. Plus we
have a dedicated cd-rom cache which works better anyway, so I
would call the /M thing in SHSUCDX a not-needed fastopenish thing.

Thanks for pointing that out. I am sure that a few PC-XT owners are
still out there (devel list or user list) and would happily throw
KEYB at their systems as soon as you offer them a binary. As far as
I understand, you only need to remove the $G+ and the pusha/popa,
which does not seem to be an error-prone sort of change?

Good point. I would like to add: Who volunteers to USE print then?
I remember not even using that thing back in my MS DOS 4 days...?
Usually, I printed directly from the text editor, and even our old
impact matrix printer had enough RAM to print in the "background"
without keeping DOS busy...
