I have for some time been trying to get a small company I know to use
FreeDOS instead of illigal copies of other DOSes. Since they are growing
and their costumers are demanding legal DOS installations they asked me
for the FreeDOS link to try it out. When the saw the version (< 1.00)
they almost desisted without even trying it even though I know that
everything they need works perfectly. I managed to convince them to try
it anyway.
There are probably a lot of people out there that need DOS but think
that anything that hasn't at least hit version 1.0 is not usable. My
suggestion: Release 1.0 full (not beta) and then work on a version 1.1
with everything that is some people here wanted for version 1.0. FreeDOS
IS stable. Let the world know! Most will never use the features that are
lacking or incomplete (with the exception of LFN).
