We already know this, although depending on implementation, the
details can be confusing.

OS/2 runs DOS programs, same as DOSEMU. Don't act so innocent, you
were the one who once told somebody around here to "just use Linux!"
:-P

Java, not much. There are some old third-party kludges that can
(barely) work in DOS, but it's nothing to rely upon. Admittedly, Java
is not currently a first-class citizen for DOS. So that's probably
"mostly" off-topic.

I'm not aware of any (working) Javascript support in any DOS web
browsers (e.g. recent Links 2.x builds).

"DEVEL" shows nothing related to Java or Javascript. It does not mean
that nothing exists, but nothing is mainstream enough for our limited
uses.

I guess you expect us to only mention here (freedos-devel) actual code
and actively maintained projects? So all mentions of general
portability and computing don't count? How do you expect anyone to
port anything if they can't even talk about it?

You really should directly cite the mailing list rules if you're going
to be so stern about it.

http://www.freedos.org/lists/remind.txt (don't swear, keep
on-topic, no flame wars)

Do I have to go back through all my posts and fill in the blanks for
you? This was always related to FreeDOS ports behind the scenes, even
if I don't personally have anything huge in the works. Sure, I
mentioned other stuff too, but overall at least some cool things work
for DOS, even if only by accident! ;-)

(BTW, I would've taken you more seriously if you didn't re-quote my
entire post, as well as 2x the obligatory Java ad from SourceForge).
