Would you need %TEMP% files just to read? I assume "more blah.txt" or even "more < blah.txt" wouldn't need to do any tempfile work. As far as alternatives, try Eric Auer's MORESYS.SYS driver (e.g. "> more$"): http://ericauer.cosmodata.virtuaserver.com.br/soft/specials/moresys-2003nov22.zip > I think there's also PG for free, and LIST if you can deal with "free but > not really free". Or you could use the Gnuish Project port of less. http://www.freedos.org/software/?prog=pg ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ One dashboard for servers and applications across Physical-Virtual-Cloud Widest out-of-the-box monitoring support with 50+ applications Performance metrics, stats and reports that give you Actionable Insights Deep dive visibility with transaction tracing using APM Insight. http://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/clk/290420510;117567292;y _______________________________________________ Freedos-devel mailing list Freedos-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freedos-devel
