We have 7ZDEC [1], which is a “small, standalone decompressor for 7-Zip archives.” It includes the executable: 7ZDEC.EXE We have P7ZIP (aka 7-ZIP) [2], which is "a port 7-Zip is a file archiver with high compression ratio.” It includes the executables: P7ZIP.EXE, P7ZIPR.EXE Then there is the suggested update provided by Darik called retro7zip [3], which is "7-Zip for DOS and Windows 95.” It provides these executables: 7ZA.EXE, 7ZM.EXE and 7ZR.EXE This is definitely NOT JUST an update to the existing 7zDec package. Nor is it directly an update to the existing P7ZIP package. Without digging deeply into this, it appears to me that it is an alternate version/port of 7-ZIP and not just an update to one of existing packages. I am not saying we do not include retro7zip. I am only saying it is not actually an update to what we already have. So, IDK.
