Hi Willi

Like the MS-DOS program it replaces, this is a command that was added
in the era of dot matrix printers. I think we first included it in one
of the FreeDOS Alpha distributions, long ago.

It only works with a dot matrix printer, though. By running..

> print C:\fdconfig.sys /1

..you have queued a job for the dot matrix printer at LPT1, so the
print job is going to wait until a dot matrix printer is found.


Is this useful in 2025? Probably few people have a dot matrix printer
these days, so we should at least make a note of it in the new version
of FD Help you are working on. I suggest replacing the note that says
"Sorry there are no more informations about PRINT" with "PRINT only
works with a dot matrix printer."


Also: can you change the "M$_DOS" note in the PRINT help page to say
"MS-DOS" instead? (The "$" is unnecessary.)
